HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN INFUSED PATRIOTIC FERVOUR IN MIZORAM
With just a few days to go for the 79th Independence Day celebration, patriotic fervour is running high in Mizoram. The spirit of patriotism is being echoed in all corners of the state.
Setting the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in motion at Vanapa Hall in Aizawl today, Art and Culture Minister Pu C. Lalsawivunga said that the tricolor is a symbol of unity and oneness in our country. He said that our freedom fighters have sacrificed everything, even their lives, to be free from British rule so that we could move forward in deciding our destiny. The Minister said that Independence Day marked our commitment towards nation building.
With Independence Day round the corner, the Mizo Hmeichia Insuihkhawm Pawl (MHIP) reach out to various orphanage homes donating gifts for the inmates. Participating in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, Vanlalnunfeli, from Durtlang locality in Aizawl expressed her feeling of being a proud Indian. Har Ghar Tiranga is also observed in different districts with exhibitions, painting competitions and Tiranga Yatra.
